The International University of Rabat (UIR) is the first university to have been set up as part of a partnership between the Moroccan State and the private sector in the field of higher education. This partnership allows UIR to work towards the attainment of its objectives: excellence in education, research and active participation in the socio-economic development of the region and the kingdom.The Faculty of Computer Science and Logistics at UIR invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Computer Science at the assistant or associate professor level. We are seeking candidates in the area of Computer science & Software Engineering in the broadest possible sense—including but not limited to theoretical foundations, algorithms, systems, software, and applications.Candidates must have a doctorate in Computer Science or a related field. Evidence of excellence in research and teaching is required. The position involves teaching in French and/or English; hence proficiency in one of these languages is expected.Salaries are competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.TeachingThe successful applicant will contribute to both undergraduate and graduate teaching across the Faculty of Computer Science and Logistics. The applicant will teach courses in software engineering such as Database/Web technologies, Information Systems Modeling (UML), and Algorithmic.
Research
The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent and innovative research program aligned with the areas indicated above.
