Missions

As Health & nutrition Manager, you are the driver to

Build the credibility of the business & brands through scientific evidence-based solutions, reputable practices and endorsement from key scientific stakeholders.

Support business & maximize its impact by making the science and nutrition a powerful lever of differentiation and superiority versus competitors.

Expected Role

1 – Drive & animate the nutrition strategy in the CBU

  • Research management in nutrition & data creation ;
  • Integration of nutrition and science as a value provider in business projects and communication ;
  • Nutritional design and rational for product development ;
  • Fosters knowledge in nutrition in the CBU ;
  • Lead nutrition topics as a lever for innovation ;
  • Plan, organize and implement the science and nutrition roadmap ;
  • Watches for nutritional & health context in the country, competitors’ actions in nutrition and makes regular updates at COREP/CODI about nutrition matters ;
  • Conducts studies (Food styles, Dietary intakes, Focus groups) with external experts to have a better understanding of local habits & cultures and enrich the business ;
  • Support and fuel the business strategy in terms of brand innovations, positioning & communication and/or to secure the current business with scientific evidences develop rationales, scientific dossiers and communication content ;
  • Monitors nutritional quality of products in the R&I projects and on the market (Paintball) and consolidates history of nutritional improvements ;
  • Monitor / Report nutrition performance (KPIs) to internal & external audiences ;
  • Education Empower employees in nutrition, ensure / coordinate the development of educational and training materials

2-Network animation, partnerships building & external engagement

  • Work closely with the public affairs manager to engage external stakeholders regarding nutrition and health (KOL management) scientific experts, institutions, health care professionals ;
  • Manage tactically and operationally the local Danone Institute define the strategy in line with local public health challenges and business priorities and animate the scientific board;
  • Drive the organization of KOL & HCPs events (scientific workshops, symposia, round tables…) set up by the Danone Institute ;
  • Manage the medical sales force, in collaboration with the medical manager, to promote the company ‘one health’ vision and dairy category benefits toward HCPs ;
  • Be the Nutrition key contact/spoke for Morocco ;
  • Participates actively in the Danone nutrition network (R&I Health & Nutrition Africa team, Alimentation & science team, ISN team, Health & advocacy team) / conf calls, annual meetings ;
  • Participates to network projects, leads some projects / activities (Hub Zone / Hub thematic…).

Ideal Candidate needs to have

  • Solid background in Nutrition ;
  • Excellent social & communication skills with the ability to easily interact with people ;
  • Ability to be in the shoes of the stakeholders (internal & external) in order to translate ; scientific issues into business opportunities questions and vice-versa ;
  • Project management Business & consumer understanding ;
  • Ability to connect, cooperate & influence externally (KOLs management) ;
  • Ability to distil nutritional and scientific research into easy to understand messages for HCP’s ;
  • Project management ;
  • People management.
