Mission:
Ensure smooth clearance of shipments at the respective gateways to enable the CMTs to meet the customers’ requirements in alignment with local customs rules and regulations and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the station has all needed and possible technical integrations with local customs that would result in having a more efficient and cost-effective operations
2. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiative
3. Monitor clearance files and submit to customs ,
4. Validate documents received from CMTs, customers, freight operations before initiating the clearance formality (import, export, etc.) ,
5. Ensure the brokerage team members receive shipments and prepare customs declaration according to the company and customs procedures ,
6. Ensure necessary documentation and communication with customs and carriers are submitted on time ,
7. Ensure company policies are communicated to all CMTs and Operations, administered, and enforced,
8. Ensure documenting the status of all received shipments to avoid compensations and penalties at later stages ,
9. Ensure that the required customs duties are communicated to the CMTs and paid on time
10. Supervise the clearance team
Profile:
- Moroccan national with Customs agreement ”personne habile”
- Min 5 years experiences in Multinational or agency brokerage department
- Min 3 years as Brokerage Manager
- Excellent organizational and team-management skills
- Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines
- Problem-solving skills
