Responsibilities:

The Sales & Monetization Manager will be in charge of maximizing revenues through all possible income streams. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will optimise the live operations of our sales and marketing campaigns, working with Jumees across commercial teams, BI, vendor experience, customer experience and marketing teams, driven by business objectives in a fast moving environment.

You will need a deep understanding of what motivates a customer, be strong enough to question and challenge the company processes and, where appropriate, offer the best possible monetization solutions.

  • Develop business growth through the implementation of the right monetization strategies
  • Collaborate with the teams to define, apply and optimize monetization mechanisms
  • Oversee the planning and execution of sales, promotional offers and related communication
  • Monitor retention curves, user reviews and community feedback to quickly spot and act on pricing issues
  • Encourage a culture of innovation focused on adding value to the customer
  • Regularly review key performance indicators and sales trends
  • Take ownership of deliverables and ensure they are up to high standards
  • Develop and test hypotheses with the analytics dept. to maximize lifetime ARPU of our customers
  • Work with Business Analysts to ensure specifications accurately reflect customer experience needs
  • Benchmark and analyse monetization strategies of competition and similar businesses.

Required Skills:

  • An excellent understanding of acquisition, retention, monetization & customer service.
  • Outstanding understanding of customer experience in e-commerce and delivery of business transformation
  • Demonstrate ability to think like a client and have a customer-centred approach
  • Evidence of working to strict, commercial deadlines on multiple projects; independently or within a team.
