Support Technician at Carta Worldwide – the successful candidate will be a member of the 1st tier client support team reporting to the Corporate IT Manager. This role may involve working hours that are outside of normal business hours including on call and pager duty.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to alerts received through monitoring software PRTG
  • Escalation of business-critical issues promptly and efficiently
  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
  • Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
  • Document internal procedures, create knowledge base
  • Perform daily system checks
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Other duties as requested
  • Knowledge of PRTG, HPSM and SEPM is an asset
