Key Responsibilities

      • Analyze current procedures and activities to identify and present opportunities for improvement of the return of assets to operations.
      • Maximize operating profit through maintaining operations during periods of failure efficiently and with minimal disruption to the operations.
      • Maximizing equipment reliability through using the maintenance crew most effectively by managing peak and labor intensive jobs with proper planning and scheduling.
      • Quickly returning equipment to design capability inside operational hours
      • Continuously drive safety, efficiency and quality in supplier selection, tool design and secondary equipment design processes.
      • Work closely with all process owners. Manage communication of project progress and status, including communication of assigned activities, with both internal and external (customers, partners, etc.) project team members.
      • Support and help drive the efficient use of CMMS for business management objectives, Quality Management System (QMS) and key performance indicators (KPI)
      • Provide expertise in new technical projects
      • Manage, drive development and strengthen the Engineering staff
      • Promote best practices among teams across all departments without creating silos; drive and develop training for process, tool, automation, and continuous improvement
      • Report department goals and supporting metrics based on company objectives

We are looking for

    • QUALIFICATION :

    • Engineering or Technical degree from an Accredited university
    • Post Graduate degree in Engineering preferred – but not required
    • 5-7 years relevant work experience in an industrial machinery environment – marine port terminal preferred. Knowledge:
    • Professionalism in an Port/Terminal environment
    • Ability to manage contracts and personnel
    • Can work with a wide range of cultures and personnel Ability:
    • Works office hours Monday through Friday – weekend and overtime as required
    • Maintains high energy levels over long periods of time
