- Working with partners, shareholders and other stakeholders
- Developing roles and responsibilities for a key terminal for APM Terminals in the regionKey Responsibilities
- Assist Management in supervising terminal asset personnel to adhere to established policies for inspection and maintenance and repair by ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.
- Advises on the procurement of parts, supplies, tools and machinery.
- Advises 3rd party engineering for services not performed in house.
- Consulting with Vertical Equipment Engineer and making recommendations on ARMG and quay crane maintenance strategy
- Advising in budget making processes pertaining to quay crane maintenance operations.
- Facilitating and participating in periodic inspections and audits of company assets, equipment and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, effective and compliant maintenance operations.
- Identifying potential safety hazards and taking appropriate action to ensure personnel safety. Including lock out tag out (LOTO), working at heights, hot works and working in confined space.
- Investigating and evaluating cause, extent and financial impacts of damage to equipment involved in accidents and documents future preventative procedures and guidelines.
We are looking for
- Engineering or Technical degree from an Accredited university
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in an industrial machinery environment – marine port terminal preferred.
