To ensure that the plant runs with maximum performance, efficiently and effectively by coordinating and planning all plant operations activities.
- Ensure implementation of effective and efficient procedures related to the performance of the plant
- Monitor daily performance of all the plant and to ensure that all the parameters are within the specified limits
- Follow up the performance model with the operational data and the guaranty values of the project
- Check metering signals related to the plant accounting settlement system (Billing software)
- Issuing the monthly energy production data required to establish the invoice payment
- Ensure metering signals related to water and fuel consumption
- Check the weather data file related to the performance model of the plant
- Follow up the efficiency of solar field, thermal storage system and power block ‘’Rankine cycle’’
- Prepare daily and monthly performance summary of plant
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports
- Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated
- Ensure identification of deviations of data related to the performance and to implement corrective actions / preventive actions
- Ensure the compliance with the power purchase agreement related to energy calculation
- Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Person Specification
- State Engineer Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years Operations experience within power plant generation as Shift Supervisor
- Operations experience within power plant generation as Operation Manager deputy
- CSP experience is desirable
