Purpose of job:

To support the Central Planning and Analysis Cluster Lead in providing professional guidance in financial planning and analysis and providing assurance on the underlying business financial performance.

The post holder will be in charge of planning and forecasting, as well as analysing and interpreting long – and short – term financial and operational plans through management reporting, analysis and interpretation of financial trends, impact assessment in order to enable informed decisions.

This post will be part of the Central Financial Planning & Analysis team that may be dispersed across the region. The roles will be split into teams which support various countries within a Cluster. There are 3 clusters across the Region

Essential Skills and experience

-Minimum 2 years of experience in Operational financial management and or management accounting.

– Delivery of results within a complex international structure and reporting to tight deadlines.

– Working in virtual teams.

– Degree level education.

NOTE:

· Only applicants with a valid residence visa in the Morocco are eligible to apply for the post. The post is open to British Council internal candidates and external candidates who are currently residing and available in Morocco at the time of applying for and taking up the post, if successful
