Job Description
- Responsible for assisting with all projects and repairs throughout the Data Center
- Perform server upgrades, integration, rebuild and other projects as required
- Ensure that all supported environments are monitored to provide alerts when there are problems (including performance)
- Work in teams to deploy new data center infrastructure
- Understand and troubleshoot network and hardware related issues
- Work with change and incident Management platform to ensure that proper planning and documentation exists
- Recognize system issues and respond to operational and emergency situations
- Maintain and troubleshoot backup systems on all sites
- Work with vendors to resolve issues and to work on new technologies
- Ensure the data center is clean and tidy and free from Health & Safety hazards
- Assist with process improvements and inform best practices in data center operations
- Participate in an on-call rotation
