Exciting career opportunity in Morocco
Position Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for supporting the creation and implementation of Collection Services to recover CHEP equipment in Morocco (and potentially Tunisia & Algeria). Be responsible for supporting the finding and selection of appropriate partners for CHEP to appoint as collection agents to recover pallets delivered to these markets. Be responsible for managing these operations, with limited face to face supervision.
· Be responsible for supporting the establishment of CHEP legal title, the maintenance of this title, establishing and maintaining strong and fluent relationship with law enforcement agencies.
· Asset Management – Ensure CHEP’s ownership rights are entrenched. Prevent illegal use of CHEP equipment and optimise the recovery of assets.
· Supply chain – assist in the establishment of cost effective operations and logistics services.
Responsibilities
· Through the execution of an action plan to establish and manage effective collection operations in Morocco – and in the future Algeria and Tunisia.
· To work closely with internal and external legal counsel, the police and law enforcement agencies to enable the recovery of CHEP equipment delivered to these markets and enhance/enforce legal title.
· To work with the CHEP Global Marketing team, to ensure that successful actions which protect/enhance CHEP’s legal title and lead to the recovery of misused equipment, are appropriately communicated to dissuade others from continuing or starting to misuse CHEP equipment in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria
· To establish relationships with asset/security managers at CHEP’s Emitter and Distributor customers and with external bodies to develop/enhance the network of parties involved in equipment security.
· To ensure that our Asset Protection & Recovery actions are correctly positioned both internally and externally, to sit correctly alongside the service offer sold to customers and CHEP’s market proposition.
· To enhance CHEP equipment controls in Morocco, and in the future Tunisia and Algeria, to ensure that CHEP maximize the financial return obtained (Brambles Value Added), that pool stocks are best utilized (Control Ratio) and losses reduced/limited (x & w flows).
· To capture sales leads for potential new business through strong contribution to the development of effective equipment controls in new countries, sectors and delivery locations.
· To establish an effective communication strategy and create a forum/method to enable CHEP and equipment recyclers to communicate openly.
· To report significant risk management actions and activities to senior management.
· To work with CHEP Human Resources to recruit responsible individuals for existing talent management needs as well as future growth.
· To meet or exceeds controllable cost goals.
· To build, maintain and monitor Asset Recovery’s interface with Logistics Service Providers to ensure collection processes are maintained.
· To monitor all Asset Recovery activities to ensure they are operating within CHEP Zero Harm & Sustainability policies and statutory motor vehicle safety guidelines
· To monitor in-country collection of all documentation required by statutory authorities and the CHEP Zero Harm & Sustainability managers
· To contribute to the preparation of the region’s annual Asset Recovery budget.

Qualifications
· 3 year degree or diploma essential
· or 7 – 8 years’ work experience at similar role or level and/or proven thorough understanding & experience working in the Moroccan market.
Experience
· General working experience: 3 years + in asset management/protection
