Linum Consult’s client is a distributor of construction and industrial engineering equipment. They are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop the activities of the Energy division within the company’s Moroccan and Sub-Saharan regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Selling new and used machines
- Selling original or adaptable spare parts
- Selling services and/or contracts related to after-sales services
- Managing the rental process for machines on either a long-term or short-term basis
- Ensuring strong communication between the company and suppliers, and implementing tools to improve performance and the flow of information
- Ensuring the sales force is fully aware of the technical capabilities of the equipment, and ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the sales pitches
- Monitoring the development of major national and international accounts, and ensuring a market share of over 30%
- Maintaining constant communication with the company’s customers and providing them with efficient service
- Guaranteeing customer satisfaction and respecting predetermined deadlines
PROFILE
- At least 15 years in a sales environment; selling energy and power generation equipment and machinery. Excellent technical knowledge of energy equipment
- Demonstrable history of analysing trends, anticipating market developments, and proposing actions to best improve your company’s market share
- Able to evaluate, manage, and develop the skills of sales staff
- Able to liaise and influence staff from Director-level to subordinates
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written French and English
- Excellent mediator, with good interpersonal and networking skills
- Strong knowledge of African markets
